A Comic That Never Existed!
Weird Clergy Stories, published by AMEN Comics, was a counter-programming attempt by concerned parents groups, citizens committees and churches in the wake of the United States Senate Subcommittee on Juvenile Delinquency brought on by anti-comics crusader Fredric Wertham.
The book ran from 1960 to 1965, for 58 issues, and contained allegedly true and humorous stories by real clergy.
